Hi!!! First, I want to thank Newgrounds for putting my game in the legendary games section of the front page. It's been an absolute dream of mine to have my game placed there and It's unbelievable to me for that dream to already become a reality so soon. Now that Martian Mayhem update 1.2.0 is out and it's jam-packed with content I want to follow it with a quick minor update that won't take long.
Update 1.2.1 will have many bugfixes and some balancing to make the game more enjoyable. one major bug that i need to fix is saved worlds disappearing upon refreshing the page (this is from the fact that the worlds are very big and when the size of the worlds exceeds your local storage it'll delete some of them. it can be easily fixed by using Newground's built in save data feature but one downside is that you'll have to have a NG account to save worlds!!)
Also here's some other stuff coming in update 1.2.1:
- Enemy encyclopedia
- More scoreboards
- More guidance to assist new players
- (And also, I'll see if I can add an optional quest line to complete in survival mode that basically tells you what to do next... but I don't know for sure if im gonna do that)
I hope all of u are looking forward to this minor update!! After I'm finished with it, I will start work on the next chapters of the game. There is a looooooooong line of new content that's yet to be added... a LONG line... so it's best that I get to work on it quickly
To end this update announcement I want to give a huge thank you to anyone who has played my game. It means so much to see people care for what I'm passionate about and it motivates me to do even better in the future! I'd also like to give an extra-huge thank you to Lirrez and Fladalt, the composers of the music used in Martian Mayhem! I think music is a big part of what makes a game enjoyable and without their amazing soundtracks, the game would only be half as fun.
